Facilities : School facilities are very important to the school. Its atmosphere greatly affects the student’s learning because it sometimes sets the student’s mind to learning new things. It is very important to have better facilities as the world is undergoing innovation in teaching strategies and change in the educational system. Penfield is situated on her own campus. The campus allows us to provide a safe and comfortable environment for learning and physical development. The campus has been carefully designed and provides numerous facilities for our faculty and students, including: Spacious and comfortable, air-conditioned classrooms
❑Playground: Big playground that hosts sports tournaments throughout the year.
❑ The performing arts enhance creativity and an appreciation for aesthetics and our vibrant culture.
❑Through a study of the arts, we can motivate and inspire our students to a better understanding of our cultural heritage, history, and the ability to critically appreciate the arts.
❑The school has various yearly activities, such as an Annual Cultural Program, Science Fair, International Mother Language Day Function, Independence Day Function, Pohela Boishakh function, Victory Day Celebration, Graduation Ceremony, Class Parties, Educational Tours, Sports Day, Football and other sporting events.
❑Classroom: Spacious and comfortable, air-conditioned classrooms
❑Library : The school has a library from which students may borrow books or conduct research. There are televisions, and emphasis is placed on providing audiovisual opportunities for students to reinforce academic knowledge.
❑Computer Lab: The computer lab in the Senior Section is used for practical classes in computer studies. Students in Class V are given an introduction to computers, and Class IX and X students are guided through the preparation of their O’ and A’ Level Computing coursework.
Science Lab: The science lab in the seniors’ section is designed according to international standards to provide students with practical knowledge in conducting science experiments. The labs contain modern equipment for students who are preparing for their Chemistry, Physics, and Biology O’ and A’ Level courses.
Covid-19 : Two years ago, students had their world turned upside down.
❑Schools closed their doors because of COVID-19, a dangerous new virus that spread quickly through communities worldwide.
❑Mask wearing in schools. Cleaning and disinfecting are the most important things. We maintain these rules and regulations very strictly.
